Knibbs Building and Remodeling of Petoskey, Michigan offers custom home building and renovation services.  Jim Knibbs brings a hands-on approach to all of his projects, delivering high quality, professional services. Using a managed system that focuses on excellent customer service, Jim has worked on many projects from Lake Charlevoix to Cross Village in northern Michigan.

Jim is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he majored in Industrial Education. After graduation, Jim started out working in the construction field for his father and eventually started his own general contracting business in 1982. He is active in the Little Traverse Association of Home Builders having served on the board of directors for over twelve years, serving as president for two terms. Jim has also served on the board of directors of the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce and many committees for various organizations.
